Hand made versus Machine made Carpets
People from long time ago has believed that something made by hand is much much worthier than something made in factories. This is also true about carpet world. The time and effort spent weaving a carpet by hand is not even comprable to the machine made one. While the former with the dimension of 100cm to 250cm takes at least one year to weave, the latter with the dimension of 400cm to 300cm takes less than a day to be ready!
Now what is this big differenece come from?
knots!
This big difference comes from diffrenet kinds of knoting. The knots in hand made rugs are somehow real; the weaver weave a real firm knot every time while machines just pass the thread thruogh wholes with no actuall knot.
In coclusion, the handmade one can live longer!
