Handmade carpet/rug tools
Here are some Persian traditional tools:
- Loom: It is the actual stand on which people weave a carpet.
The most usual loom is the vertical one which could be in various dimensions.
2. Qulab: it is a kind of knife specially designed to knot the threads more easilly.
3. Dafe: also known as weaving comb, is used to secure the knots after each row has been tied. It is often made of wood or metal.
